History of the Magick Spelling
As I learn more about real spells and spell casting, a question has come up. Why is there a “k” included in the spelling of Magick? This question has plagued modern day magicians since it was first printed in John Dee’s Diaries during the Elizabethan age.
The earliest citation of the word is from the writings of Geoffrey Chaucer, who wrote in 1384:
And Clerkes eke which konne we l Alle this magikes nature l That Craftely doon her ententes To maken in certeyn ascendentes Ymages, lo, thrugh which magike To make a man ben hool or syke.
It was a popular form during the Elizabethan period. Both Shakespeare and Milton used the form “Magick” in their writings. It is unknown if they added any meaning by using the “K” or if they are just mere errors in spelling. In the modern era, it denotes the difference between Illusionist’s magic or stage magic and those who cast real spells.
It is commonly believed that the “K” form of Magick was returned to common use in the early twentieth century by Aleister Crowley. Crowley had a number of reasons for including the “K”. It is the 11th letter of the alphabet and 11 is a powerful master number. 11 represents intuition, creativity, and inspiration. These qualities, Crowley surmised added power to ordinary magic. Adding the “K” had the added benefit of defining his form of magick from the stage magic performed illusionists. Aleister Crowley defined Magick as “the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will.”
I have found that even today, using the spelling Magick adding the “K” defines the term as Occult or ritual type as opposed to illusionist/stage performer. For example “Let’s go see the magic show!” or “Let the power of my magick show!” To those who perform the Magick the “K” is silent when the word is spoken but the power remains.

HOW TO DO MAGICK
You as a person are magick; your whole being has the power of the universe. As you are of magick and you are individual and unique your magick should be also. If you are following traditional spells it should still be changed to represent you and your specific needs and goals. Understanding basic spell construction is needed to teach you to how to write powerful and effective spells for anything you want.
First you must plan the spell elements. You need to decide exactly what you want and what you want to happen. You must decide the path. You have to be very detailed in visualizing what it is that you want. You should also carefully decide when you will cast your spell. You must consider the energy currents, star alignments and phases of the moon.
If you are trying to gain something, bring something to you, or something of luck, then place you magickal workings on days when the moon is waxing. When the moon is in its waning phase, you should do workings of decrease or sending away.
The strongest earth energies occur during the full moon so this is strongest time for your magickal spells. The new moon is the second most powerful time for spells.
Whenever possible, follow nature’s natural energy currents. There is a natural time for starting things (a planting time), for maturing things (a growing time), for reaping things (a harvest time) and, of course, a time for rest and planning.
Flowing with these currents will make your magickal work much easier. Remember to plan your project for a time of uninterrupted privacy. It is important that you have no distractions. Generally speaking, it is best to work as late at night as possible. A time when there is less frantic energy is most appropriate. You might consider midnight or later.
Before the day or night of you magick spell, acquire and locate all the things you must have for the spell. All of the things are tools with no inherent powers. They are used to help you harness your energies and mood. If used correctly they will trigger deep primitive magickal instincts from deep within. These tools must be carefully selected with your goals in mind. If you are casting a spell for wealth, thing your tools need to promote a sense of wealth. If your magick is for peace, then your tools should make you feel calm and tranquil.
Before your magickal spell casting you should prepare yourself by cleaning and purifying your mind, body, spirit, and soul. People do things such as fast, did a cleaning bath, and even practiced chastity.
When you cast the spell you should be there spirituality and mentally: You must meditation on the outcome of this spell. Use the buildup of that energy to make the spell more effective.
Once you cast the spell be active towards getting your goals. The universe likes actions and commitment. Once you put towards effort you dreams will come true through your actions.

This spell caster is terrific and real he has everything you need on it and more. It has great spells and fabulously believable insights into what you could have help with, for yourself or someone else. I ordered a spell for my partners mum. A lovely lonely old lady not really into this kind of thing really and treated it as a bit of a laugh. She was amazed at the results she got when she asked for a fellow companion to while away her time with. She met the kindest old gentleman last june and they have not been parted since. She often tells her friends they met through witchcraft but no-one believes her she laughs all the time. They are so happy together it so is, a beautiful time of their lives. They are both 71 and 75 yrs respective, It does not matter really if they believe it or not. It worked. The magic brought their lives together and magic has stayed in their lives up until this point.
