Red Love

Reason on Using the Color Red in Clothing
Red is a very powerful color. Many people perceive red is a stimulant. It connotes a confused mixture of emotions and associations: love and anger, violence and happiness, danger and power, and many other extremes. And if used the right way, red can yield positive results in many different occasions, such as an important business meeting, or when trying to attract attention to a specific object or attribute.
The color red, in terms of clothing, should not be worn excessively, except if the main point is to attract attention. As drivers and car owners know, red is the color of caution or potential danger, as the color is commonly used in road signs. Red is best worn as small articles of clothing, like a tie or a scarf, depending on the brightness of the hue. Some shades of red also appear more conservative than the others.
Red is used to emphasize or draw attention to a feature or a physical attribute. You can use this effect of the color red if there’s something you want to call attention to through your outfit or appearance. Women, for example, may opt to wear a red scarf to draw attention to a long neck. Women also commonly use red-colored lipstick to emphasize their lips.
Wearing the color red is a failsafe means to assert your personality.
Red ties
, which are more popularly known as power ties, are commonly used in the office. The color of the red tie exudes in the wearer’s aura an amount of power and confidence that’s hard to ignore.
Red ties
or other similarly-colored small articles of clothing, if mixed with certain colors, can also produce different effects. Red with green, for instance, has a festive and joyful appeal that’s associated with the holiday season. Mixing red with blue, on the other hand, creates a patriotic look.
Red ties
are not the only red-colored items popular these days. Red-colored logos for brands and companies are also becoming more widespread today. This only means that red is one of the colors that most appeals to the human eye. Knowing how to use the power of the color red to one’s advantage can definitely help one get ahead.
